What's lurking under all those leaves?

The mornings are crisp and the gorgeous display’s of Autumn are all around us. How beautiful the falling leaves look draped over the lawn in a sea of color…but for us professional pooper scoopers, it’s THAT time of year again.

Trying to find Rovers leftovers under all that beauty can be quite the chore. Sometimes we find more dog poop on our shoes than we get in the pan. Fall is always are more time consuming season for us. It’s like trying to find a particular needle in a stack of needles!

I’m still waiting for the genius to event the “poop detector”. I’m not sure how that would work…I guess by smell? But the leaves do eventually get raked up and Stinkies is able once again to scoop up all the waste.

P.S. If you notice one of our scoop technicians jumping into a big pile of leaves, just remind them what’s mixed up with them!

Royals Bark at the K 2009

Kansas City Royals Bark at the K - 2009

Last Sunday was the last home game for the Royals. It was a great game beating the Twins 4-1. It was also the first Bark at the K event where fans could bring their dogs to watch the game and visit local pet related vendors. With great honor Stinkies Pet Waste Removal was selected to be the “Official Pooper Scooper” of the Bark at the K. Along with our booth and a visit from “Stinker”, Stinkies mascot, Stinkies provided pet waste clean up bags for pet owners and also patrolled the area to make sure no waste was left behind.

The Bark at the K helped support three local charities, the Greater Kansas City Humane Society, Half Way Home Pet Adoptions and Wayside Waifs. All three charities offered adoptions during the event.

The Bark at the K sold out and was obviously a huge success. I’m sure this will be a yearly event.

Strutt With Your Mutt 2009 - Stinkies Pet Waste Removal

The 2009 Strutt With Your Mutt in Brookside was allot of fun. There were so many cute dogs and many vendors. This was our first year with the Strutt and we had so much fun, Stinkies will definitely participate each year from now on.

Our mascot “Stinker” drew allot of attention. The kids loved getting there picture taken with him and also enjoyed the balloons!

It’s always nice to get out and meet so many great loving dog owners. It was also nice to see so many of our wonderful customers enjoying the event with their own dogs.If you have not ever made it down to brookside to enjoy the Strutt, it’s a must do event!

All proceeds benefit Wayside Waifs.
